Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro launches a 108MP penta camera smartphone
Xiaomi launched its Note 10 Pro, with an impressive array of cameras and specifications.
The primary camera is a large 1/1.33" Quad-Bayer Samsung ISOCELL BRIGHT HMX sensor with 108MP nominal resolution that produces 27MP output files. It's accompanied by not one but two tele-cameras for optimized zoom range performance. There are 2x 12MP tele and a 5x variant with 5MP sensor. There is also a 20MP ultra-wide camera with a 16mm equivalent field of view and a 2MP dedicated macro camera that can get as close to the subject as 15mm.
TechRadar already has a review and early verdict on the camera, I mean, smartphone;
- Wide range of camera features
- Huge battery
- Fantastic front-facing camera
- Sub-par processor
- Illogical camera modes
- Looks suspiciously like the Huawei P30 Pro
On paper the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 looks like a compelling device. On closer inspection the corners Xiaomi has cut in order to make it quickly become apparent, but there are enough impressive features here for many of those compromises to be overlooked.
