Panasonic Organic Sensor Patent Application

Panasonic has already released in low quantities some organic sensors, and the latest rumors have suggested that by 2020 or 2021 Panasonic will release a camera with an organic sensor.

What good is an organic sensor?  Because of an organic sensor converts light to voltage using a film, instead of photodiodes, the efficiency can be greater.

In this patent application, we see Panasonic working on a stacked organic sensor and the ultimate goal of this patent application is to reduce noise.
