Nikon APS-C Z camera design patents

A new design has surfaced from Nikon which shows them working on the grip part of an ASPC- Z mount camera.

There are several different designs listed, and we'll show both of them here. One details far more of the actual form and function of the camera itself.

It's unknown yet when (or even IF) Nikon will launch an APS-C based Z mount camera.  Considering the success of the EOS-M and the Sony APS-C cameras, it would be difficult to assume that they will not respond fairly quickly with an APS-C camera of their own.
