Manufacturing issues with Sony's full frame mirrorless cameras?

Lensrentals completed their second part of their focal plane distance testing, this time with ILC cameras.

There wasn't much to say about most manufacturers, except when they got to Sony.

It seems a small percentage (1.5-2%) of them suffered mechanical failure due to IBIS mechanism. Some of them even exhibited fractured mounting plates, others had retaining clips work themselves loose.

Of course, these were rental units, they could have been dropped or otherwise abused.  However, it has to be something to watch going forward and if your Sony full frame mirrorless camera just seems to be "off" maybe it needs to go into Sony to have a look.
