Long term review of the Panasonic S1 by Lok

Lok of DigitalRev fame has had the Panasonic S1 for 3 months, and has compiled this review of the camera.

Some notes from the review;

  • Subject recognition is good with the S1, AF-C looks better than what he was getting with the Sony A7S
  • AF-C tracking works well, but not as good as for instance the Sony A7III
  • More hunting with the Panasonic
  • Real world AF is useable though, and much better than the GH5
  • IBIS works great
  • IBIS does seem to cause some wobbling at ultra wide angles
  • The weight doesn't seem to be that much of a problem
