Are these the EOS R Mark II specifications?
The specifications for the EOS R Mark II have started to leak. Of course, this far away from an announcement, the specifications are usually pretty far from the truth. But these specifications have a ring of truth to them.
We know that Canon needs to go up market with the EOS R and add in dual card slots. We also know that Canon has been busy working on IBIS. So what do you end up having? Specifications that look like this from Canon Rumors;
- DIGIC X (A different version than the EOS-1D Mark III)
- ISO 100 – 51,200
- 1 SD card slot
- 1 CFexpress slot
- No crop 4K video with DPAF
- No RAW video
- 5mp EVF
- May get a new naming scheme
I'm mostly curious about the new naming scheme. Is this a replacement of the EOS R Mark II or an entirely new camera line alltogether? A new camera line would make sense if the camera diverges a great deal from the EOS R.
Time will tell..
